Why are you seeking elective office?

I feel it is important to serve the community, and truly believe based on my previous
professional experience this is the best position in which I can accomplish that.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

As the Amherst School District Clerk is not responsible for making any policy related decisions when it comes to the school district, there is not a single pressing issue confronting this position. However, ensuring the accuracy of the school district election ballots before printing is a vital responsibility of the ASD Clerk. We have been fortunate to have an outstanding clerk for the last 3 terms who has ensured Amherst has not experienced any issues relating to school district elections.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am running unopposed

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

I am a strong supporter of open communication between citizens and elected officials, and I will ensure that continues in my role as Clerk.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Performing administrative functions including preparing binding documents, and the submission of requested documents to government agencies over my career have shown my ability to succeed in the role as Amherst School District Clerk.

I’ll continue to work hard for the residents of Amherst, and fulfill my responsibilities in accordance with New Hampshire State law.
