UPDATE: U.S. Marshals Arrest 'Extremely Dangerous' Fugitive

United States Marshals arrested a man who they said was “armed and extremely dangerous” on Monday, Aug. 10, according to published reports.

Jason McCoy, 25, was arrested without incident on Monday afternoon in Alexandria, New Hampshire, according to a report from CBS Boston.

The United States Marshals Service is searching for a man wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants.The “armed and dangerous” man reportedly has stolen a shotgun and ammunition while on the run.

Jason McCoy, 25, is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for several outstanding warrants, including a probation violation, for an original charge of reckless conduct involving a firearm, and a receiving stolen property warrant issued by the Rochester Police Department, according to authorities.

McCoy allegedly stole a vehicle, a shotgun and ammunition while on the run, the U.S. Marshals Service said. He also allegedly has led police on multiple chases.

U.S. Marshals said McCoy is a known drug user, who is reportedly hallucinating, sleeping with weapons and could be suicidal. Authorities said he should be considered ”armed and extremely dangerous.”

He was last known to reside with family in Rochester, but authorities said he could be in the Lakes Region or the Keene area with friends and associates.

McCoy is described as 5-feet-5-inches and weighing 145 pounds, with brown hair, green eyes and tattoos on his upper left arm and back. Additionally, he is said to have discoloration on his hands.

McCoy allegedly stole a 2014 Nissan Juke with New Hampshire license plate “LONWULF”.
