What Amherst Business Were You Sad to See Leave in 2012?

Amherst Patch has gone over the growth in business our town has seen over the years, but many businesses have also packed their bags in that time.

Every grand opening usually comes after a few closings here and there, some of which may have been longtime businesses that are near and dear to our hearts.

Jake's Ice Cream closed down their Amherst retail space in favor of a wholesale operation the other month, while businesses like Cassidy's Grille & Coffee House and the Euro Deli have closed down for good.

There are still others out there that have gone this year and left behind vacancies just waiting to be filled.
