What's Open and Closed on MLK Day?
Amherst Town Offices, schools and some businesses will be closed for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day is this Monday, Jan. 20, which means a lot of things will be closed in town.
The Town Offices and Amherst Transfer Station will be closed all day on Monday. The Amherst Public Library will also be closed. The public schools will also be closed and are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The Amherst Post Office and most banks will be closed on Monday.
