When Are Dog License Renewals Due?

Make sure you take care of your canine before the end of the month.

Dog license renewals in Amherst are due on Tuesday, April 30. Dog owners can take care of this by mail, at town hall during regular business hours or online.

Rabies shot are required.

Town hall has a record of unlicensed dogs in Amherst. Owners who fail to register their pets before June 1 will be issues a civil forfeiture notice by Amherst Police alongside a $25 fine.
