Where You SHOULDN'T Swim in New Hampshire Right Now
The NH Department of Environmental Services has issued advisories for nearby swimming destinations.
Take a look at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Service’s beach advisories before you take a dip this summer.
The Beach Inspection Program provides updates on unsafe swimming conditions in water bodies across the state.
For example, an advisory has been issued for nearby Horseshoe Pond in Merrimack due to an extensive amount of bluish-green algae clouds of cyanobacteria in the water. The blooms can be toxic and it is recommended that humans and pets stay away from the water.

Look through the NHDES map of beach advisories for updates on water conditions across New Hampshire. The map shows that swimmers should be wary of beaches in Laconia, Gilford, Keene and Merrimack right now.
There are currently no safety advisories for Baboosic Lake.
