Glamherst is the name for the town of Amherst, NH given to it by many other towns in the surrounding areas. the name originated by the copious amounts of rich people who live in Amherst. Glamherst is a place where people are so rich they are confused as to what they should do with their lives, so they resort to smoking weed and drinking. A lot.

Rob: Yo man, nice Abercrombie jacket. Where did you say you lived again?

Phil: Amherst man.

Rob: Oh you mean glamherst?

Pretty harsh stuff. Merrimack was also labelled as a poorer Bedford, while Milford was designated the only town to do anything. The City of Nashua also gets the proud title of 'Trashua.'

Most of these definitions steer towards the negative and stick to stereotypes in their summary of these New Hampshire towns. These ridiculous entries are meant for laughs, but maybe our Patch readers can come up with something better?
