
1. Warm today, slush tonight. According to Weather.com, today's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a high of 45 degrees and rain showers developing in the afternoon before turning to a slushy snow at night. Roughly one inch of snow is expected to accumulate. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent today and 90 percent tonight.
2. Back to work. Many government buildings, including the post office, town offices and library were closed yesterday for President's Day, but it;s back to work at normal business hours today.
3. February Vacation approaches. Bedford students and teachers didn't have President's Day off, but February Vacation runs from Feb. 25 to March 1.

4. Casino Bill hearing today. This morning, the casino bill will be heard before Senate Ways and Means. The hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the Statehouse.
