Another Bedford Dog Finds His Way Home

While two Bedford dogs have been returned home this last week, another remains missing.

It was only hours after he ran away, but Parker found his way home.

The 12-month-old Pointer mix ran away this morning, in the vicinity of Joppa Hill Road and Hill Street, dragging a 20-foot blue leash.

A couple hours after Granite State Dog Recovery posted the "Lost Dog" announcement on its Facebook page, Parker's owner announced through the same post that he had been found:

Parker is OK. Decided he might follow a Deer into the woods... We were very worried especially since he had the long leash on him. I kept imagining him wound around a tree and stuck out in the cold. He got away from me when I was walking him this morning. For a Southern Rescue Dog, he sure loves the snow!!! Only had him a week, so there are some command and obedience training in his future!

Saturday, Patch repoted on another lost dog, found in Londonderry, who was returned to his Bedford home after being lost for nearly a month.

Still, another Bedford dog remains missing.

Hannah, a 6-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever, is on the loose in Bedford and she could use your help in finding her way home.

Hannah has been missing since Saturday, Feb. 16, when she was last seen on Wallace Road wearing a blue and brown collar with tags that include contact information.

According to Granite State Dog Recovery, which is aiding in the search for Hannah, she id roughly 70-80 lbs and has a quarter-size hairless patch on her front elbow. Hannah is friendly but timid and she is also micro-chipped.

Anyone who has seen Hannah or who is able to help in her search is encouraged to call 785-0305.
