- A shoutout to Providence College junior Jacque Harrington of Bedford. Harrington hit a home run that sailed out of the park over right field during the fifth inning, and brought in two runs during the second game of a two-game series against DePaul in Chicago on Sunday, April 2. The first game of the double-header was a 12-1 win for Providence College. DePaul won the second game with a score of 9-5. (Providence College Athletics)
- The forecast this week brings good news for spring flowers — April showers are expected early this week. Today we'll see "variably cloudy" skies with mild temperatures, and a high of 56. Winds will be 12 m.p.h., with gusts up to 30 m.p.h. Showers will arrive on Tuesday morning. It will be another mild day, with a high of 57. Rain is also in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday!
