- Get ready for "Skin Deep" by Bedford Off Broadway! This comedy, directed by Joe Pelonzi, "tells the story of a large, lovable, lonely-heart, named Maureen Mulligan, who gives romance one last shot on a blind-date with sweet awkward Joseph Spinelli." Catch a performance at the Old Bedford Town Hall on Meetinghouse Road March 3- 12, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., or the 2 p.m. matinee on Sundays. Doors open an hour before the show, and you can buy tickets at the door. Find out more here: (Bedford Off Broadway)
- Will Bedford have a new train station, run by the Manchester-Boston Airport? A new study examining the costs of the proposed new rail service between Boston and New Hampshire said it will cost $782 million, with train stations planned for Manchester, Bedford and Nashua. The largest amount of funding for new rail service would come from federal grants, according to the report's 2023 Informational Sheets. The new train service would offer 16 round trips to Boston every 30 minutes on weekdays! See the "2023 Informational Sheets" and full report here: (NHDOT, Yahoo News)
- Win $5,000 and help the animals at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire! Tickets are on sale for the Animal Rescue League's annual $5,000 Cash Raffle March 1 - 31, or until tickets sell out.
