Bedford Driver Accused Of Wrong-Way Drunken Driving On Interstate 293 In Manchester
Kyle Loconte of Bedford was arrested Monday night after being accused by NH State Police of striking multiple guardrails near Exit 2.

BEDFORD, NH — A man from Bedford is facing several charges after being accused of wrong-way drunken driving on Monday night.
Around 9:45 p.m., dispatchers with the New Hampshire State Police began receiving calls about an SUV driving the wrong way on Interstate 293 near Exit 2. Callers also stated the driver struck guardrails. According to Michal Sventek, a public information officer for state police, troopers quickly found the blue 2017 Subaru Forester in question.

“The driver of the SUV corrected his direction near Exit 1 on I-293 and stopped shortly after on South Porter Street in Manchester,” he said, “where he was taken into custody.”
Kyle Loconte, 37, of Bedford, was arrested on felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and disobeying an officer charges, as well as various motor vehicle violations. He is due to appear in Manchester District Court for arraignment in April.
