Bedford Man Says 'No Thank You' to $3,000 Offer for Game 6 Tickets

Count one Bedford man among the thousands of lucky Red Sox fans who hold tickets to tonight's possible World Series clinching Game 6 at Fenway Park, seats he has deemed priceless.

In fact, according to Wednesday's Union Leader, Dennis Purnell, a father of three boys, refused at least one offer that would have swayed many otherwise loyal fans.

"I did consider it when I got a text from someone saying they would give me $3,000 for the pair. Then I said, 'I just can't do it,'" Purnell told the newspaper. "I've never been to a World Series game when they could clinch."
