Bedford Parent-Teacher Group Color Blast Slated For June 1
Participants will run, walk, dance, twirl, skip, or stroll along a 2-mile course and will be "blasted" with powder at color stations.
BEDFORD, NH — The Bedford Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) is excited to announce the return of the Color Blast Fun Run/Walk, a vibrant, family-friendly event aimed at bringing the community together in support of Bedford’s public schools.
This year’s Color Blast will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 1 on the Bedford High School campus.
The PTG Color Blast brings hundreds of participants of all ages together for a 2 mile family-friendly Fun Run/Walk where you can run, walk, dance, twirl, skip, or stroll through color stations where they will be “blasted” with color powder. Be sure to wear white and expect to finish looking like a colorful work of art.
Following the run, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, where families can enjoy music, balloon creations, a photo spot, face painting and the announcement of raffle winners.
Attendees can also purchase treats from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee and Kona Ice — a perfect way to celebrate the fun!
Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, including presenting sponsors London Family Orthodontics, Blue Dolphin Pools and Spa, and Lindner Dental Associates, PC, the Color Blast will help raise funds that support the more than 3,900 students across Bedford’s six public schools, serving grades Pre-K through 12.
Bedford PTG is a non-profit organization that provides enriching educational opportunities and community events for the Bedford School District's staff, students, and families, and helps support the individual needs of our schools.
The PTG helps bring artists, authors, animal encounters, musicians, motivational speakers, and more to the students.
