Bedford Ski & Skate Sale Set for This Weekend
Here are five things you should know today in Bedford.

1. Get your winter sports and recreation gear now! The Bedford, NH Parent-Teacher Group is proud to announce its highly-anticipated and wildly-popular Annual Ski & Skate Sale event has been scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Bedford High School. This family-oriented winter fundraiser aims to support education programs for the 4400+ students attending the six Bedford public schools grades K through 12 through the sale of new and consignment winter sports equipment and apparel from top vendors and families throughout our community. 2. The weatherman says ... Today's forecasted high, according to Weather.com, is 42 degrees. The skies, however, should be clear, with a 0-percent chance of rain. The overnight low is 24 degrees.
3. Roadwork roundup. After months of construction, Joppa Hill Road is now open, to through traffic from Route 101 all the way into Goffstown.
4. After school art classes. The Refrigerator Door Kids Art Studio is right in Bedford and offers drop in classes each day. Buy a class card and come when it is convenient for you! Membership options are also available.
