Black Ice, Fog May Hinder Morning Commute in Bedford
Here are a handful of things you should know this week in Bedford.

1. Road hazards. Patchy fog and black ice may hinder your morning commute, according to a special weather statement from the National Weather Service.
2. Bedford tree lighting. The annual Bedford tree lighting takes place on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. The Bedford Women's Club invites the community to gather by the Town Memorial Tree, located in front of the Bedford Presbyterian Church, to celebrate friendship and service. A color guard will recognize veterans. Members of the Bedford High School Chorus will close the ceremony with song.
3. The weatherman says ... Today's forecast calls for a high temperature of 41 degrees with a 20-percent chance of rain and mostly cloudy skies. The overnight low is 33 degrees.
