Convicted Felon Accused Of Stabbing Man In Manchester Apartment
Rocky Hutchins is accused of first-degree assault, criminal threatening, and being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Fire, Police and AMR responded to a multi-unit house on Walnut Street for a report of a man who had been stabbed Thursday.
First arriving officers found a man inside an apartment who had been stabbed in the leg and began treatment until fire and EMS arrived.
Police interviewed several people at the scene as the victim was being treated. A description of a suspect was obtained and officers began searching for a man who was last seen leaving the apartment.

Police quickly located a man outside the 7-11 on Webster Street, directly behind the house where the stabbing occurred.
Officers were told by the victim that he had been staying at the apartment but was asked to leave by the female occupant. He reported that an argument began and a man he did not know got involved and stabbed him.

After gathering information and evidence the man who had been detained was identified as Rocky Hutchins, 35 of Manchester.
Hutchins is accused of first-degree assault, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon according to Manchester Police Spokesperson Heather Hamel. It was determined that Hutchins was a convicted felon and was charged with being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
Hutchins appeared in Hillsborough County North Friday where he was ordered to be held on preventative detention. He is currently being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.
