Danvers, Mass., Man Arrested, Held; Accused Of Driving 111 MPH On I-93 In New Hampshire
Kevin Mwaura was accused of driving recklessly April 5 through Manchester in a Cadillac before being stopped by New Hampshire State Police.
MANCHESTER, NH — A Bay State man was arrested during the early morning hours of April 5, accused by New Hampshire State Police of driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 93.
Around 3:45 a.m., a trooper patrolling the southbound side of the highway in Manchester saw a black Cadillac XTS “driving recklessly,” according to Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for state police. The car was reportedly clocked at 111 mph.
The driver, Kevin Mwaura, 21, of Danvers, Massachusetts, was pulled over and told he was being arrested, he said.

However, Mwaura was accused of becoming “non-compliant and attempted to physically resist” the trooper’s “efforts to take him into custody.” He charged with reckless operation and resisting arrest but “further refused to comply and cooperation with the booking process and declined bail,” Dumont said.

Mwaura was held at the Hillsborough County Jail and scheduled to be arraigned on April 7.
