- A shoutout to consulting firm Sanborn Head. The engineering and geoscience company will have new headquarters in Bedford this spring. The move will combine the company's Concord, New Hampshire and Westford, Massachusetts offices in a new location at 6 Bedford Farms Drive. Welcome! (New England Real Estate Journal Online)
- Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire on Tumble Road in Bedford Thursday afternoon. The right half of the house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the three-alarm fire that caused the roof to collapse and blew out the windows. Bedford Deputy Fire Chief Keith Folsom said the couple living in the home was able to escape, but one of their cats did not survive and several others are missing. Thick smoke was seen pouring from the building Thursday, and drivers were asked to avoid the area. (WMUR Manchester)
