Eight New Hampshire Teams Head to Global Academic Tournament
Two Bedford Student-Led STEAM Teams to Represent New Hampshire

New Hampshire will be well-represented at the Destination Imagination Global Finals 2025, with eight outstanding creative problem-solving teams advancing with the opportunity to compete on the world stage.
Two Middle Level teams will represent Bedford, NH at the tournament; a Scientific Challenge team from Ross A. Lurgio Middle School, and an Engineering Challenge team from McKelvie Intermediate School. Six other talented student teams from Grantham, Mascoma Region, Durham, and Windham will round out Team New Hampshire, showcasing exceptional creativity, collaboration, teamwork, and innovation on the global stage.

Destination Imagination Global Finals is a culmination of a year of teamwork and challenge-solving by over 125,000 students globally, and over 800 in New Hampshire. Held this year in Kansas City, MO., hundreds of teams from 15 counties and most states will be competing at Global Finals.
Destination Imagination challenges teams to develop creative solutions to complex, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)-based or Service Learning challenges. The New Hampshire teams demonstrated remarkable ingenuity in designing and presenting their solutions, impressing the appraisers with their problem-solving skills and effective creativity and collaboration.

"We are incredibly proud of all the teams who successfully brought their solutions to our statewide tournaments," said Wayne Kurtzman, of the New Hampshire Destination Imagination Board of Directors. “For the teams advancing, this is a once in a lifetime experience - to be at an academic tournament with creative and innovative students like themselves."
