Extended Voter Registration Hours Offered in Bedford

For those planning to vote in 2014, the Bedford Supervisors of the Checklist are holding extended voter registration hours to sign up or make changes to your name, address and/or party affiliation.

The session takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Bedford Town Offices. Of course, voters may also make changes during regular town office business hours as well.

Proof of residency, age, identity and citizenship are required. Acceptable documents include the following:

Proof of residency

• A driver’s license with your Bedford address

• A utility bill, bank statement or lease agreement with current address

• A copy of a purchase and sales agreement

Proof of Age

• Photo ID with a Date of Birth

• Birth Certificate

• U.S. Passport

Proof of Identity      

• Photo ID

* If a naturalized citizen, a U.S. passport or naturalization papers are required. 

* Affidavits for proof of citizenship and domicile are available for those without the proper identification.
