Fall Cemetery Cleanup Set for Bedford

1. Fall cleanup of the cemetery grounds ... will begin approximately Nov. 18. Healthy and vibrant flowers and/or plants may remain at gravestones, but any dead, damaged, and/or neglected flowers and/or plants will be removed by the maintenance crew. Ceramic, granite and thick Rubbermaid plastic containers will not be removed from the gravesites, but any thin plastic containers will be removed if they contain dead flowers and/or plants. The maintenance crew will be using leaf blowers, and we ask that the public keep in mind the safety of the crew and remove any lot decorations that could be blown away by the leaf blowers. Any items not removed are placed at your own risk. The town is not responsible for items that are blown away or damaged. 2. The weatherman says ... Another cold day today. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies, but only a high near 36. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 25.
