Former Lawrence School Employee, Coach, Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Mass. Girl At Manchester Motel
Jesus Moore facilitated transportation for the girl, a student, plied her with alcohol, and sexually assaulted her at a motel in March 2022.

MANCHESTER, NH — A man, formerly of the Queen City, has pleaded guilty to a federal charge connected to the sexual assault of a girl at a motel in Manchester in March 2022.
In February 2024, Manchester police were told by police in Lawrence, Massachusetts, they had been tipped off by SafeSport, a nonprofit focused on student abuse prevention, about a sexual assault in the Queen City about two years before at a local motel.
Police investigated the incident and identified Jesus Moore, 35, of Manchester, who was the basketball coach at Lawrence High School at the time, and had arranged for the girl to get a ride to Manchester.

Moore was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault.

About six months later, Moore was charged federally with transportation to engage in unlawful sexual conduct. In September 2024, the sexual assault charge was dismissed without prejudice, according to court records.
Heather Hamel, the public information officer for Manchester police, said Moore was scheduled to be sentenced in January 2026.
