Legally Blonde Coming to Bedford
Here are five things you should know in Bedford today!

1. So funny, it should be illegal! Bedford High School's Theatre Company will be performing Legally Blonde the Musical. Best described as perky, energetic and bright, with a pop score and dance numbers that will leave you feeling exhausted on the kids’ behalf, the show is an absolute hoot. Embracing everything from jumping ropes to spoofing Riverdance, Legally Blonde takes cliche expectations and merrily dances all over them. Its showcasing of stereotypes in an attempt to shatter them is utterly enjoyable, but there is a fair amount of mature innuendo intended for older audiences. Most of it will fly over the heads of little ones, but as a parent, please use your discretion about how comfortable you will feel sitting next to your children. Celebrating the always wonderful message about the importance of being yourself, Bedford High School’s performance of Legally Blonde is enormously entertaining and fun. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets to the show, which runs Nov. 14-17, are available at the door before each show or online here.
2. The weatherman says ... a warmer day awaits today with sunny skies and a forecasted high of 49 degrees with a 0-percent chance of rain. Tonight's overnight low is 33 degrees.
3. Fall cleanup of the cemetery grounds ... will begin approximately Nov. 18. Healthy and vibrant flowers and/or plants may remain at gravestones, but any dead, damaged, and/or neglected flowers and/or plants will be removed by the maintenance crew. Ceramic, granite and thick Rubbermaid plastic containers will not be removed from the gravesites, but any thin plastic containers will be removed if they contain dead flowers and/or plants. The maintenance crew will be using leaf blowers, and we ask that the public keep in mind the safety of the crew and remove any lot decorations that could be blown away by the leaf blowers. Any items not removed are placed at your own risk. The town is not responsible for items that are blown away or damaged. The water will be shutoff for the winter season soon. Please feel free to contact any of the cemetery trustees via our contact link here if you have any questions or concerns.
4. Win $50 by sharing your opinion! The Bedford Recreation Department is asking residents to take a short survey and is offering a $50 gift card to one lucky respondent. Read more here.
