Here are the top stories today in Bedford:

  1. Dartmouth Hitchcock is hosting an in-person job fair for new and experienced nurses. Find out about the new "System Float Traveler" nursing program and the Nurse Residency Program for recent grads at Bedford and other Dartmouth Hitchcock locations at the Experienced and New Grad Nurse Career Fair on Thursday, Feb.23, at The Hilton Garden Inn, 35 N. Labombard Road in Lebanon from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. (Patch)
  2. Monday's storm brought down tree branches and power lines, closing several Bedford roads. If you live near one of these "unpassable" roads, you may have to plan an alternate route. Here's a "List of Bedford Road Closures/Unpassable Roads" to avoid, provided by the Bedford Police Department: (Bedford NH Police Department via Facebook)
  3. Are you ready for more snow? "Storm-weary" New Hampshire residents had a break Tuesday when the sun came out, but forecasters say more snow is on the way. A winter storm advisory is in effect for southern New Hampshire from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. A few inches of snow are likely for Bedford, changing over "to a wintry mix and/or rain." Roads will be slippery and travel will be slow Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. (WMUR)
