Machete Wielding Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Woman
Manchester police are searching for a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman Friday morning and fleeing the scene.

MANCHESTER, NH — At approximately 9:10 a.m. Friday, Manchester police responded to an Auburn Street apartment for a reported sexual assault.
"The caller said that his girlfriend woke up to a man assaulting her," according to Heather Hamel, a public information officer for the department. "The victim was able to get away and run from the apartment. She reported that the suspect had a machete."
According to police, it was initially believed the suspect was still in the building but police have since learned that is not the case. Police are actively searching for this person. This does appear to be a random incident.

Police said the suspect is described as Black, skinny, in his 30s, with an afro. He was last seen wearing a green or black shirt and shorts. Police provided a surveillance photo of the possible suspect, and are looking for assistance in identifying the person in the photo.
