Man Accused Of Punching, Kicking Manchester Man To Death
Akim Alleyne of Manchester was indicted for manslaughter in connection to the December 2023 death of Te-Jay Thomas on Lowell Street.
MANCHESTER, NH — The Hillsborough County Grand Jury has indicted a Manchester man on manslaughter charges in connection to the death of Te-Jay Thomas of Manchester.
Akim Alleyne, 33, is facing up to 42 years in prison for recklessly causing the death of 46-year-old Thomas December on Lowell Street near Central High School. Alleyne is accused of striking the victim in the head, repeatedly kicking him, and stomping on him, according to court paperwork.
He was indicted on manslaughter, seven counts of second-degree assault, and operating a vehicle after certification as a habitual offender.

Manchester Police, fire, and AMR responded to Lowell Street behind Central High School on Dec. 7, 2023, for a reported fight. When police arrived, they found Thomas unconscious on the sidewalk and provided medical aid.
The victim was taken to Elliot Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

An autopsy performed by the Office of the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
Alleyne fled the area and set off a search for several weeks. He was located in Richmond, Virginia, and extradited to New Hampshire, where he is being held on preventative detention at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.
Alleyne will be arraigned on April 2 in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.
