Man Walking On Interstate 293 In Manchester Struck By Truck
An unidentified man has life-threatening injuries after being struck on the highway Wednesday morning. NH State Police are investigating.

MANCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire State Police are investigating a pedestrian accident on Interstate 293 north in Manchester with life-threatening injuries.
Manchester Fire, AMR ambulance, and state troopers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck at Mile Marker 6.6 on Wednesday at about 6:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man with serious injuries, and he was taken to Elliot Hospital. An initial report stated the man had died, but that has not been confirmed at post time.
State police closed the left lane to protect the scene for investigation. A truck that appeared to be involved was pulled over in the right breakdown lane and was being examined by police. The highway was closed northbound for a short time while the scene was investigated and then reopened.
