Manchester Motorcyclist Killed In Interstate 293 Crash After Losing Control On A Turn, State Police Say
Matthew Alosa was riding a Harley-Davidson when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a wooded area on Monday afternoon.

MANCHESTER, NH — A motorcyclist was killed after not properly negotiating a turn on Interstate 293 in Manchester on Monday afternoon, New Hampshire State Police said.
Around 2:30 p.m., state troopers were sent to the area of Exit 6 for a report of a crash. When they arrived, they found Matthew R. Alosa, 59, of Manchester, on the side of the road in a wooded area. He died due to injuries suffered in the crash, state police said.
A preliminary investigation found Alosa was riding south on his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle “when he did not negotiate a left turn along the road” and lost control of the motorcycle. He rode the motorcycle off the right side of the road and crashed in a wooded area.

The right lane of the highway and the on-ramp from Eddy Road to I-293 south were closed for more than three hours. Troopers were assisted by Manchester police, firefighters, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
