Since assuming the post as Bedford Police Chief in late 2011, John Bryfonski has done his best to foster a welcoming environment at Bedford PD.
Tonight, Bryfonski takes his community-oriented concept a step further when he inaugurates a monthly, "Meet The Chief," meeting from 6-8 p.m. at the Bedford Public Safety Complex.
"This is a project I wanted to kick-off for some time and believe it will be an easy way for residents to stop by to discuss whatever may be on their mind and help the Bedford Police Department to better protect and serve our residents by having a personal dialog with their Chief of Police," said Bryfonski. "I encourage residents to stop by to discuss issues and concerns or perhaps share ideas and observations the department can incorporate to improve our performance or perhaps take a personal tour of the station; take a look at a new cruiser; see what kind of new technologies we are employing to improve the department's efficiency and effectiveness; tour the construction project in our communications center or just stop by to chat."
