  1. Two New Hampshire Patch journalists won nine Distinguished Journalism Awards for news, video and photography at the annual NH Press Association banquet on Thursday. New Hampshire Patch editor, Tony Schinella, won five awards including first place in the Spot News category for “Retired Concord Couple Missing, Found Murdered.” Journalist Jeffrey Hastings won first place in the General News Photo category for a photo of a bear published in Bedford Patch (“Black Bear Strolls Through Downtown Manchester, Climbs Tree In Park”) and third place for General News Photo for “Honoring 9/11 Victims” also published on Bedford Patch.   2. Bedford High School graduated seniors Kendal Joyce, Lauren Thomas and Sabrina Tipping will be playing in the Vermont and New Hampshire 2023 Make-A-Wish All-Star Hockey Classic at the University of Vermont. The annual showcase features top graduated high school seniors of Vermont and Hampshire. The boys and girls showcase hockey games will be on Saturday, July 1, at the Gutterson Fieldhouse.   4. The first week of Farm and Forest Camp starts on Monday, June 19. The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill "has proudly offered summer camps for children" in Bedford since 2005.
