  1. The Bedford High Booster Club is selling $20 discount ticket books for its Spring Fundraiser. Help high school athletic programs this season by purchasing a ticket book from a BHS student. The discount books offer more than $400 worth of savings "at local restaurants, golf courses, businesses and more." The books will be delivered by the students selling them.   2. Join the Bedford Police Citizen Academy and find out what it's like to be a Bedford police officer. The academy meets on Wednesdays, April 19 through June 21 from 6-9 p.m. "Residents, Business Owners, and Workers in Bedford with a minimum age of 18 years are encouraged to apply." Experience "almost every aspect of police work, including patrol operations, criminal investigations, forensic and crime scene investigative techniques, criminal law including search and seizure, use of force, ethics and internal affairs, communications, community policing, interview and interrogation, highway patrol including traffic enforcement and accident reconstruction," and more.
