1. If you received a call asking you to immediately pay bail to release a family member — like a grandchild who was arrested, or has a warrant issued for their arrest — Bedford police warn that it's a scam! The caller may claim to be from the Bedford Police Department. "No one from any police agency will ever call you and demand money over the phone,” said Chief Bryfonski. Star wrestler Christian Morency, who "put wrestling back on the map" for West High School, will compete against the top wrestlers in the state at the Meet of Champions at Bedford High School today, Saturday. 3. If you want to change your name, address or make other updates to the Bedford Resident Checklist before the March 14 local election, you can do so before March 4 at the Bedford Town Hall.
