Police: Taxi Driver Assaulted, Robbed by Bedford Man
25 year old charged with felony robbery.

A driver from Queen City Taxi was assaulted and robbed in Bedford early Thursday morning.
Less than 16 hours after the alleged incident, Brandon J. Gorgone, 25, of Reed Drive in Bedford was arrested and charged with Class B Felony Robbery.
According to Bedford Police, Gorgone was the passenger in a taxi that was directed to Technology Drive in Bedford. Upon reaching the destination, at approximately 3:21 p.m., Gorgone allegedly assaulted the cab driver and took an undetermined amount of cash and personal belongings before running toward a nearby condominium complex.
Bedford Police responded to the scene and requested assistance from the NH State Police K9 unit, but were unable to track the suspect.
After further investigation, Bedford Police identified Gorgone as a suspect in the crime and arrested him at his Reed Drive residence at 7:25 p.m.
Gorgone was formally charged and transported to Hillsborough County Department of Corrections in Manchester. He is set to be arraigned at Merrimack District Court at 8 a.m. Friday.
