Dear Editor,
Representative Gould supports New Hampshire business and realizes that the upcoming biennial budget is an important vote she will have to take. The state will no longer have the Covid recovery subsidies from the Federal government so the next budget must address the resulting fiscal issues. A balanced budget is always a primary goal of Republicans and one that she will support. Rep. Gould feels strongly that a Republican majority in New Hampshire will keep our state fiscally strong.
Linda has told of a business owner who bought a business in NH because, as he says,” It is easier to do business in NH”. She will vote to keep that NH Advantage.
Housing issues will be coming up in relation to our economy. Linda supports local control of zoning and believes that there are creative solutions for alleviating the housing shortage without eliminating or restricting single family zoning.
Along with her business and fiscal concerns, she continues to support the First and Second Amendments, no sales or income tax, veterans, improving education to prepare students for a competitive world, no plans to change the current abortion laws, and of course improving safety for bicyclists and pedestrians.
Please re-elect Linda Gould for state Representative on November 5. Please view www.gouldforbedford.com for more information.
