Sarah Silverman's Sister Arrested in Israel

Bedford native and edgy comedian Sarah Silverman was in the news this week when she posted a Facebook message in support of her sister and niece, who were arrested, along with eight other women, at Israel's Western Wall.

Silverman's sister, Susan, is reportedly a rabbi from a liberal reform stream of Judaism, according to a report from Yahoo.com, which indicated the women were arrested for "wearing religious garb that Orthodox Judaism reserves for men only."
