Here are the top stories today in Bedford:

1. Runners are looking forward to the Snowflake Shuffle race tomorrow. The race starts at 15 Constitution Drive and the course runs along Route 101 and Meeting House Road. Police said to expect delays and heavy traffic between 8:30 a.m. and noon. See the Bedford Police advisory and race route here: (Bedford Police Department)
2. If you were driving on Route 101 Thursday morning and encountered traffic delays, the road was closed due to "a motor vehicle accident." Bedford police issued a statement Thursday that Route 101 was closed by Grey Road Road on Jan. 12 at 10:29 a.m. due to an accident and advised drivers "to avoid the area."
