- New Hampshire is offering a rebate program for private wells contaminated with cancer-causing PFAS chemicals, including in Merrimack, Bedford, Litchfield, Londonderry and Manchester. Private wells in Bedford and the surrounding communities were contaminated with toxic PFAS chemicals from the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics plant in Merrimack in 2016. State rebates will be available to "more than 120 New Hampshire communities" impacted by PFAS contamination. More on the The PFAS Rebate Program here. (New Hampshire Bulletin)
- Bedford girls' varsity basketball fans: The Bulldogs will face Portsmouth Tuesday in the NHIAA Div 1 semi-final playoff game. Catch all of the action on WBNH Bedford 105-1 radio or online. Why listen to the game instead of watching it on BCTV? "Due to the NFHS Network owning the NHIAA live video broadcast rights, BCTV will not broadcast the televised game live, but will record the game for later viewing." (BCTV via Facebook)
- In boys' varsity hockey action, Bedford High School beat Trinity in the quarterfinals game at Sullivan Arena. Trinity scored in the first period with a shot "over the goalie’s shoulder" for a 1-0 lead. In the second quarter, the game was tied 2-2, and was tied 3-3 in the third quarter. - The Bedford Police Department is asking for the public's help to find runaway juvenile Thaddaeus Cyr, 17. Police said he "has not been home since Feb. 25," and "was last seen wearing a red hat and black sweatshirt." Police noted, Thaddaeus is also an avid skateboarder.
