The victim of Friday night's fatal crash on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack was a Maine teen suffering from a terminal illness, according to WGME-TV.
The Maine television station said Kobe Huynh, 14, was a student at Auburn (ME) Middle School and that counselors will be at the school on Monday to talk with students and staff. The school posted a message on its Facebook page Saturday about Kobe's death, prompting several people to offer their condolences to the family.

"So tragic. So incredibly sad," said Nicki Gorey. "My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."
Kobe's father, Nghia Huynh, 37, of Nashua, is charged with negligent homicide and aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with Friday's crash. He was hospitalized until Monday morning, when he was released and then brought to New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks in Bedford for processing. He was then taken to Merrimack Circuit Court for his arraignment. Bail was set at $50,000 cash or corporate surety. He is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on March 3.
The 3-car accident was reported around 7 p.m. Friday, and shut down a portion of the highway for several hours.
