Teenager Arrested Outside Manchester Memorial High School With Firearm
Tyson Lennartson, 18, is accused of showing a firearm in the parking lot. The school was placed in a "secure campus" status.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police School Resource Officers and additional patrol officers responded to a report of a person with a firearm in the parking lot of Memorial High School on Monday.
The campus was immediately put into a "secure campus."
Multiple officers assisted the school resource officers in locating a person near the stadium who had a firearm at about 8 a.m. Police identified the individual as Tyson Lennartson, 18, of Manchester, who is not currently a Memorial High School student. It was reported that this individual was seen holding the firearm but then concealed it under his clothing.

Tyson was accused of possessing the firearm and accused of disorderly conduct and criminal threatening. It is reported that Tyson did not attempt to enter the school, and the “secure campus” was in place for approximately 5 minutes.
"We would like to thank the students and staff at Memorial High School and the Manchester School District for their alertness and quick action in notifying the School Resource Officers and the Manchester Police Department,” said Manchester Police Assistant Chief Peter Marr.
