The right lane of I-293 remained closed for more than twelve hours as NH DOT and Bauchman’s worked to safely upright the trailer. Due to the thousands of pounds of carrots, potatoes, cabbage, radishes, and onions that were loose in the truck, the contents mostly had to be removed by hand.
Several NH DOT workers and Bauchman workers formed a line unloading the truck into containers that were later removed from the scene.
The trailer was eventually uprighted early in the afternoon and removed from the scene.
All aspects of this crash remain under investigation. Anyone with additional information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Trooper Grimes at Alexander.O.Grimes@dos.nh.gov or 603-223-4381.
