2 Bank Robberies With 24 Hours In Manchester Under Investigation
Bangor Savings on Baker Street was robbed Friday; TD Bank North on Franklin Street was robbed Saturday. Cops seek assistance IDing suspects.
MANCHESTER, NH — Two bank robberies in less than 24 hours in Manchester are under investigation by police — who are looking for assistance from the public.
On Friday, a suspect entered the Bangor Savings Bank at 170 Baker St. at about 2:30 p.m. During the robbery, the suspect walked into the bank with a cell phone up to his ear and slid a note to the teller, demanding money. He continued talking on the phone and walked out of the bank once he got the cash. The suspect is believed to have left the area on foot.
The suspect in the Bangor Bank robbery is described as a white man with a mask, sunglasses, a white baseball cap, and a blue shirt.

On Saturday morning, Manchester police responded to a robbery at TD Bank North at 300 Franklin St.
Police learned a man, covering his face with a construction vest, walked into the bank, told the teller he had a gun, and demanded money. He passed the teller bags to fill and then left the bank.

The robber’s face was covered entirely. He had a white construction hat on, a yellow vest over his face, a gray baggie outfit, and was riding a bicycle, according to Manchester Police Spokeswoman Heather Hamel.
