- See "two movies about the power of... movies" at Thursday Theater at the Bedford Public Library on March 9. Shows will be in the McAllister Room at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. For movie titles, descriptions and to sign up, visit the library's online calendar: (Bedford (NH) Public Library via Facebook)
- Is driving in Bedford a felony? It may be, if you lie about it. Bryan A. Morse Jr., 34, of Brady Circle in Manchester was indicted on two felony charges in Hillsborough County Superior Court. The first charge was for possessing the controlled drug diazepam, and the second was for tampering with witnesses or informants and "telling a woman to tell police she was driving in Bedford" on Sept. 2, 2022. - In a recent newscast, WMUR's Kevin Skarupa said a "big hello and thank you" to students at Bedford Academy. The meteorologist made a "weather school visit" to Bedford Academy last week, teaching students how he predicts the weather in New Hampshire. He said the students "asked excellent questions" and "were fascinated by the different clouds and what they mean.” Skarupa was given a Bedford Academy sweatshirt that may come in handy, considering the snow in the forecast this weekend.
