Weare Man Accused Of DWI In Goffstown Crash That Injured Teen Driver
Steven Nossek faces DWI charge and yellow line violation after crash on Back Road, after his truck crushed a Mustang, entrapping the driver.
GOFFSTOWN, NH — A Weare man is facing charges after a Goffstown Back Road accident left an 18-year-old injured Wednesday.
Goffstown Fire and police responded to a report of the accident on Goffstown Back Road near Langan Drive with reports of entrapment on Wednesday. Responders were informed that the driver of the car was 18 and was unconscious but breathing and trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters immediately gave the car's driver medical aid and began extricating using multiple hydraulic tools.
A second ambulance was requested mutual aid from Bedford for the other vehicle's driver.

Initial information and evidence at the scene indicated that the car was traveling toward Manchester, and the pickup truck was traveling toward the center of Goffstown. It appeared the truck crossed the center line, striking the car. However, this is based on initial information at the scene.
Steven Nossek, 27, of Weare is accused of crossing the yellow line while driving a pick-up truck and hitting the car. Police investigating the accident detected signs of intoxication, and Nossek was transported to Catholic Medical Center for evaluation and a blood draw.

Nossek was charged with one count of Driving While Intoxicated and one count of yellow line violation, according to Goffstown Police Lt. Thomas Hammond.
Nossek was released with a court date of October 31st at the 9th Circuit District Court-Goffstown.
Hammond said the accident victim had been treated and released from the hospital.
Goffstown Back Road was closed for an extended time and opened to restricted travel while Goffstown Police investigated the accident.
