It's that time of year again. Sure, it's time to throw the turkey in the oven, hang up a wreath and some Christmas lights and pack on some extra holiday pounds. But it's also the time of year when you, the residents of Bedford, get to choose the town's top dog.
Enter your furry four-legged friend in the 2014 Bedford Poster Dog contest to earn he or she the opportunity to represent the town in its 2014 dog license campaign materials.
Not only will your pooch's image be plastered all over town, but the winner's 2014 dog license is free.
To be considered, email a pdf or jpeg of your dog to Bedford Town Clerk Lori Radke at Lradke@bedfordnh.org.
Deadline for submitting a photo is Dec. 27, and the Bedford Town Office employees will select from the submissions on Jan. 10.
Dog licenses for 2014 will be available beginning Jan. 2.
