- No one matched the winning numbers for the second largest Mega Millions Jackpot of $1.35 billion on Tuesday, but four winning tickets were sold in New Hampshire. A $30,000 ticket was sold in Nashua, a $10,000 winning ticket was sold in Amherst, and another $10,000 ticket was sold at the Circle K on 8 White Avenue in Bedford. Congratulations! (Patch)
- New Hampshire Troop B arrested a New Ipswich man at a gas station in Milford on Thursday, Jan. 5, on charges of breaking into the Ipswich Market on Christmas Day. State Police said officers from New Hampshire Troop B in Bedford responded to a reported burglary at the New Ipswich Market on Sunday, Dec. 25, "just before 5 a.m." Store surveillance footage and employees helped identify a suspect, Daniel Depauw, 48, of New Ipswich. State police arrested Depauw on Thursday, Jan. 5, at a Milford gas station. Anyone with information is asked to contact police: (Monadnock Ledger Transcript)
- The Bedford School District tried to reassure parents, students and staff after sharing news Wednesday that, Curran Shane, 32, a former Bedford paraprofessional and JV baseball coach, was arrested in August. Shane was charged with aggravated sexual assault and felonious sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl. The alleged offense reportedly happened "in 2017 at a home in Seabrook." (WMUR)
