  1. Bedford is under a Winter Storm Watch Saturday. Snow will continue late in the day, with sleet possible in the morning. Wind gusts "up to 35-40 m.p.h. are possible near the coast," with "lighter wind gusts inland." Bedford could have three to six inches of snow. (WMUR)

  4. In a recent New England Real Estate Journal article (NEREJ), Andrew Levy noted that many long-time businesses have recently closed. He noted that "Dixieland's building in Bedford was sold in December," adding, "time will tell" what will take its place. "Bed Bath & Beyond is still fighting off bankruptcy," he said, noting that the retail stores in Amherst and Plaistow closed "as part of a nationwide closing of 150 stores."
