  1. Harvey Construction in Bedford is part of a $12.5 million proposal for a 220-acre, mixed-use development of the former Laconia State School property. Hawthorne Development Corp. submitted a net-zero proposal that emphasized conservation and locally produced renewable power. The Executive Council voted last month to sell the property for $21.5 million to Robynne Alexander, a Manchester woman "with a history of tax liens and experience in the development of much smaller projects." No closing date has been set. (New Hampshire Bulletin)
  2. It's snowing! Enjoy the wintry weather today, but roads may be slippery. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for our area from Thursday at 4 p.m. through Friday 4 p.m. See updates out about storm and road conditions here. (Bedford Patch)
