Air Quality Alert Warning In New Hampshire; Nice Summer Weather: Forecast

After the haze and pollution from wildfires pass, the National Weather Service says it will be a nice weather week.

CONCORD, NH — An air quality alert has been issued by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services — leading to a warning by the National Weather Service, too.

The department and forecasters are warning of “unhealthy air quality” across the entire state through Monday night due to wildfires from Canada. Children and the elderly, as well as anyone with lung disease or breathing issues, and those who are active outdoors, should take precautions.

“Even healthy individuals may experience mild health effects and should consider limiting strenuous or prolonged outdoor activities,” the NWS said.
