Blankenbeker To Run For Open Merrimack County Attorney Seat In 2026 (patch.com) — Concord resident and longtime military nurse and attorney Lynne Blankenbeker has launched a 2026 bid for Merrimack County Attorney, aiming to succeed outgoing prosecutor Paul Halvorsen. After moving to Concord for law school, she built a broad resume in prosecution, military leadership, and budgeting, and now wants to apply that experience to guide the county attorney’s office and strengthen partnerships with local communities and mental health providers.
   

5. Driver Injured During Crash Between A Subaru And A Minivan In Concord: Video (patch.com) — Emergency crews in Concord responded Monday morning to a collision between a Subaru Forester and a Dodge Caravan at North State and Centre streets, where one driver reported back, neck, and shoulder pain. The Subaru had to be towed, and officers struggled to confirm the minivan’s VIN. About half an hour later, police handled a second crash on North State Street near Blossom Hill Cemetery involving drivers from Contoocook and Laconia.
